Well, personally I am pumped for China.  This will be my very first time outside of the country ALONE.  Plus, it has always been my dream to go to china and learn how to speak Chinese.  I've seen peope speaking chinese all around me, and i felt left out since i was chinese but didn't know how to speak it.  before this year, i didn't even know that there were diffrent kinds of chinese.  i thought there was just one chinese, but now i know diffrently.  this trip is going to be my turning point; the realization that i have prepared myself for.  i am going to go there as one person and come back as someone else.  whoever i come back as is going to influence my community strongly.  china itself is a really awesome country.  while the US controls the political world, china controls .. the other kind of world.  economical i think.  i can't remember too well.  even so, i know that my trip to china is going to change me as a person, and i am ready for that.
